Cinnamon is a spice that is obtained from the inner barks of trees belonging to the genus Cinnamonum. It has many health benefits and also benefits your skin greatly.

Cinnamon increases blood flow to your skin. When the blood flow increases, the skin receives more nutrients. This keeps the skin healthy and glowing.

Cinnamon helps conditions like acne, eczema and psoriasis. It acts like an astringent and can cause some burning sensation.

Always do a patch test on your skin and check if cinnamon agrees with your skin.

Honey Cinnamon Face Mask

Mix three spoons of honey with one spoon of finely ground cinnamon powder. Apply evenly on your face and wait for about fifteen minutes. Wash your face with water at room temperature. Repeat this once a week and watch your face glow. You can also apply this on the places where you have marks on your face. The marks slowly disappear.

Remember use good quality cinnamon powder. Organic cinnamon is great.
