Facial skin care - Homemade organic masks

Organic Masks use natural ingredients in their products. They use natural resources of the earth to make their products. For example - clay, honey, goji berries, tea tree oil, aloe vera, rose petals, turmeric, ginger, neem, orange, lemon etc.,

Plants, honey, botanical extracts or any naturally occurring ingredients will be safe to use on your face and they are eco-friendly.

If you are making homemade masks then remember the following -

Strawberry helps to repair skin damage, removes impurities, clears up acne/oily skin, makes the skin younger and smooths the skin. Strawberries have salicylic acid which removes dead skin cells and reduces the pore size on your face.

Cucumber cleanses, soothes and has a cooling effect on the skin. Cucumber has ascorbic acid and caffeic acid which help prevent water retention on the skin. It reduces puffiness under the eyes and helps the skin heal from sunburn, inflammation and eczema.

Honey is sweet to taste and very beneficial for your skin. Honey has antiseptic properties and reduces inflammation.It fights infection and aids healing of tissues. Honey prevents scarring on the face.

Yogurt soothes skin and reduces the size of pores on your face. Yogurt and Lemon can be used to make a face mask.

Oatmeal soothes irritated skin. It provides relief from sunburn, poison ivy or any other irritations. Oatmeal heals skin and large pores on your skin.

Avocado helps rejuvenate and regenerate your skin. Avocado contains natural carotenoid which protects the skin from harmful UV rays of the sun. Vitamin C and E in Avocado promotes growth of skin collagen and prevents wrinkle formation on your skin. Avocado is used to heal sun burnt or damaged skin. Avocado also hydrates and moisturizes the skin.

Aloe vera is a moisturizer and also helps to protect you from harmful UV rays of the sun. It stimulates the growth of cells. It makes the skin smooth and glowing.
